installed. The Project Start date
is Jan 17, 2011.
Customer notices will be mailed
to all residents announcing the
program. Access to homes will be
necessary to install the new
water meter and radio equipment.
The installation takes about 30
minutes to complete. Customers are
asked to have the area around the
water meter clear and accessible
for the technician.
The water meters
being installed are manufactured
by AMCO Elster -
Smart Meter
Technology http://www.elstermetering.com/. The RF equipment is
manufactured by
KP Electronic
Systems Ltd. http://www.kpsystems.com.
All National
Metering Services, Inc. employees
are in uniform and have proper
identification. All installers
have had background checks
completed by the State Police
prior to employment.
