How To Book Your Meter Appointment and Be Informed

Project Details
1.) Initial Notice - Letter in the Mail
You will receive a letter from the Water Department notifying you that your water meter is scheduled to be replaced. This letter will explain why the change is necessary and what steps to take next.
2.) Follow-Up Reminder - Postcard
You will receive a letter from the Water Department notifying you that your water meter is scheduled to be replaced. This letter will explain why the change is necessary and what steps to take next.
3.) Book Your Appointment Online
On the notice, you will be able to scan the QR code or type in the link in order to successfully book your appointment in the preferred date and time slot.
4.) Appointment Confirmation
Once you completed booking your appointment, you should receive a confirmation email to highlight the details.
Designated Time Windows For Meter Change
The technician will arrive in two windows (Morning 8-1 AM, Afternoon 12-5) in order to change the meter.
Notification
Following the completion of your scheduled work, you will receive a physical notice placed on your door, indicating that the job has been fully carried out and no further action is required on your part.
Duration of Install
Typically the appointment should take 20-30 minutes in total. With the water being shut off for 10-15 minutes within that time. Make sure that there is three feet of space when technician comes to change the water meter.
